This standard defines an outdoor accelerated corrosion test (ACT) method for evaluating the corrosion resistance of metals and alloys in an intermittent salt fog environment. The standard adopts the international standard ISO 11474:1998 to accelerate the corrosion process of metal surfaces by simulating the salt fog environment to evaluate their corrosion resistance. It is suitable for light fastness testing of various printing substrates and their treated materials.
