The standard GB/T 8430-1998 provides xenon arc testing for the colour fastness of Spinning & weaving products in artificial climate. The standard was revised in 1998 to replace GB/T 8430-1987 and is equivalent to ISO 105-B04:1994. The amendments include format adjustments, changes to appendices, standardization of test methods, and an increase in the test range for wet photosensitive Spinning & weaving products. The standard is used to evaluate the color fastness of Spinning & weaving products to light under simulated climate conditions.
