The GM 14162-2011 standard is used to assess the colour fastness of materials under extreme environment conditions in a simulated interior. Materials are tested for artificial efflorescences using Xenon-arc lamps that simulate sunlight, heat and Humidity. The standard describes four test methods covering different exposure periods and environmental conditions, including alternating light and dark periods and single light exposure. These test methods are based on ISO 105-B06 and SAE standards and are designed to provide a uniform evaluation method for artificial efflorescences to evaluate the color Stability and degradation of materials.
