The VDA 621-415-1982 standard provides an accelerated laboratory corrosion test method for evaluating the anti-corrosion performance of vehicle Coatings. The test simulates the corrosion effects under actual driving conditions through cyclic exposure to salt fog spray, condensate climate, and room temperature environment. The test cycle includes 24 hours of salt fog exposure, 96 hours of condensate exposure, and 48 hours of room temperature environment, which can effectively predict the durability of Coatings in actual use. This test method is also known as Cyclic Corrosion Test (CCT).
