The ISO 105-B04:1994 standard specifies a method for assessing the artificial weathering colour fastness of Spinning & weaving products under simulated efflorescence conditions. The test simulates the combined effect of sunlight, light and moisture by exposing Spinning & weaving products to a test chamber fitted with a xenon arc. This method is particularly suitable for assessing the colour fastness of Spinning & weaving products such as clothing to determine their tolerance to environmental effects in practical use. The standard also provides detection methods for the combined effect of light and water on Spinning & weaving products. The ISO 105-B10 standard provides another testing guideline for Spinning & Weaving products that are exposed to long-term outdoor conditions or require mechanical testing.
