The ISO 1431-1-2022 standard specifies procedures for evaluating the resistance of vulcanized or thermally plasticity rubbers to ozone checking under static or dynamic tensile strain conditions. Tests are carried out under specific temperature, relative humidity and ozone concentration conditions, often using specially designed ozone cabinets to simulate the natural exposure environment. The sixth edition of this standard adds high Humidity test specifications and evaluation methods, including visual observation and image analysis. In addition, the types of specimens and test cycles in testing are described. ISO 1431-1-2022 is designed to help manufacturers evaluate the ozone resistance of Rubber under realistic conditions of use.
