The standard specifies the exposure test method for Paints and varnish under fluorescent UV lamps, which is used to simulate the aging process of coatings in an actual use environment. The method reproduces the efflorescence effect of coatings exposed to sunlight or through window glass by exposing them to a specific fluorescent UV Lamp, heat and water. The standard covers test equipment, exposure conditions and procedures for evaluating coating resistance to aging, and is applicable to a wide range of coating materials.
