This standard applies to the determination of the Color of chemical products in transparent or near-transparent liquids, expressed in Hazen (Platinum-Cobalt) Color units. The Color grade of a sample is determined by visual comparison with the Color of a standard Platinum-Cobalt Colorimetric solution. This method is suitable for evaluating the Color characteristics of liquid products and is commonly used to detect Color conformity and quality control of brownish-yellow liquid products.
