The ISO 4630:2015 standard "Estimating Color by Gardner Color Label" specifies a method for estimating the Color of transparent, yellow or brown liquid products using a Color measuring instrument. The standard applies to Color measurement of fatty acids, Resin, rosin and related products, etc., and is calibrated using the Gardner color label. Compared to the previous version, the 2015 version of the standard combines ISO 4630-1:2004 and ISO 4630-2:2004, eliminating the visual comparison method of the original Color, emphasizing the standardized application of the Spectrophotometric method, spectrophotometry. This method improves the accuracy of Color measurement and is suitable for products with Color ranges from Gardner 1 to Gardner 18.
