ISO 13076:2019 specifies Illumination conditions and assessment procedures for visual evaluation of coatings, including the inspection of coating degradation, speckle and Miscellaneous defects. The standard adds the use of LED Light sources and updates normative references and definitions of terms. This standard does not apply to Color visual comparisons, but focuses on the identification and assessment of defects to ensure accurate detection of coating masses.
