The GB/T 27816-2011 standard specifies a test method for the determination of the Glass transition temperature (Tg) of lacquer-based paints for Paints and varnishes by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Glass transition temperature is a temperature indicator that measures the transition of lacquer-based materials from a hard and brittle state to a flexible state when heated. The standard details sample preparation, test conditions and methods for analyzing results to ensure the accuracy of measurement results. Through this standard, the thermal performance of lacquer-based paints can be evaluated, and the use and storage of products under different environment conditions can be guided.
