GB/T 9272-2007 is a Chinese national standard, which specifies a method for the determination of NVv in Paints and varnishes by measurement of dry coating density. It is suitable for all kinds of dry coatings obtained within the specified temperature and drying or curing time. The method is not suitable for Paints that exceed the critical pigment volume concentration. The standard is centralized by the National Coating and Pigment Standardization Technical Committee and is in charge of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. It aims to ensure accurate evaluation of the mass and performance of Coating products.
