GB/T 17850.5-2017 specifies the technical requirements for nickel refining slag abrasive for spray cleaning of steel surfaces before coating. The standard specifies the particle size range, apparent density (pb), mohs hardness, water content, water leaching liquid conductivity and water-soluble chlorides content of nickel refining slag abrasive, which is suitable for unused abrasive. Nickel refining slag is a Glass amorphous material that does not absorb water, only the surface can be wetting, and the free crystalline silicon content does not exceed 1%. These requirements ensure the efficiency and safety of abrasives in jet cleaning, while providing mass assurance for steel surface preparation for jet cleaning of Miscellaneous materials.
