GB/T 17850.7-2017 specifies the technical requirements for molten aluminum oxide abrasives for spray cleaning of steel surfaces before coating. The standard specifies the particle size range, apparent density (pb), mohs hardness, water content, conductivity of water leaching solution and water-soluble chlorides content of molten aluminum oxide abrasives. These requirements apply to unused molten aluminum oxide abrasives, not recycled or used abrasives. The standard provides a technical basis for ensuring the surface preparation mass of steel, and is applicable to the spray cleaning of Miscellaneous materials, providing protection for coating adhesion and coating durability.
