This standard specifies the method for determining the content of asbestos in marine and marine engineering coatings, including test principles, equipment, reagents, sample preparation and test reports. It is applicable to the determination of asbestos content ≥ 0.1% of coatings. The standard is applicable to marine and marine engineering coatings, and can also be used for the determination of asbestos in Miscellaneous Coatings to ensure the safety and environmental friendliness of coatings.
