This standard specifies the test method and evaluation of results for anti-microbial contamination of water-based paints in tanks. The test involves adding a certain amount of microorganisms to water-based paints by simulating natural environment conditions and storing them at 30 ° C +/- 2 ° C. Periodic measurement of the number of microorganisms in the sample evaluates the anti-microbial contamination performance of Coatings based on their dynamic changes. This method can also be used as a reference for anti-microbial contamination testing of Miscellaneous Coatings.
