"GB/T 21782.3-2008 powder coatings - Part 3: Determination of density by liquid replacement Specific Gravity bottle method" stipulates the method of measuring the density of powder coatings by liquid replacement Specific Gravity bottle method. This method calculates the density of the sample by measuring the mass and volume, and is suitable for the density determination of powder coatings. The liquid replacement Specific Gravity bottle method equipment is relatively inexpensive, but the accuracy is lower than that of the gas comparison gravity specific method. It is only used when the same result can be obtained as the arbitration method (gas comparison specific gravity meter method). The standard was centralized by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Hazardous Chemicals Management, issued on May 12, 2008, and implemented on September 1, 2008.
