"GB/T 19816.6-2005 Test method for metal abrasives for jet cleaning of steel surfaces prepared before coating Coatings, Part 6: Determination of foreign impurities" specifies the determination method for foreign impurities in metal abrasives for jet cleaning. The standard is equivalent to ISO 11125-6:1993, which is used to determine the content of foreign impurities such as oxides and smelting residues in metal abrasives by magnetic separation to evaluate the degree of abrasive contamination. The standard is applicable to all kinds of metal abrasives for jet cleaning, providing an important basis for the quality control and safety of abrasives. The standard is proposed by the Chinese shipbuilding industry group company, the national Coating and pigment standardization technical committee, issued on September 14, 2005, and officially implemented on April 1, 2006.
