ISO 2813-2014 "Determination of Gloss for Paints and varnish Non-metallic Paint Film Mirrors at 20 °, 60 ° and 85 °" is the international standard for assessing coating Glossiness. This standard determines the Gloss Value (GU) of the coating by measuring the reflected light at different geometric angles and applies to textured coatings on flat, opaque substrates. The fourth edition cancels and replaces the earlier version and updates the terminology and Measuring method to add applicability to metallic coatings. This standard applies to the quality control and product evaluation of paints and varnishes to ensure that the Appearance characteristics of coatings meet design and industrial requirements. ISO 2813-2014 is the responsibility of ISO/TC 35/SC 9 and refers to relevant standards such as ISO 1514, ISO 2808 and ISO 4618.
