The ISO 3668:2017 standard specifies a method of visual comparison of Paints Color using an artificial Light source on a standard booth. This standard applies to the visual comparison of Paints Color with a standard Color, ensuring conformity and accuracy of Color. The standard updates the requirements for Light sources, removes the determination of film thickness that is not relevant to Color evaluation, and incorporates supplementary test conditions. The standard does not apply to Coatings containing special effect pigments, ensuring accuracy and conformity of the test.
