This standard specifies a method for the determination of antimony migration in polyester resin and its molded products by Atomic fluorescence spectrophotometry. It is suitable for the detection of antimony migration in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) Resin and its molded products. Through the pre-reduction of antimony ions in the sample immersion solution and the reduction reaction of the hydride generator, the antimony migration amount is determined by Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometer (AFS) to ensure that the safety of the product meets the relevant standards.
