This standard defines a method for the determination of trace chromium content in paper, Cardboard and pulp, suitable for various samples digested by dry or wet nitric acid methods. The detection methods include flame atomic absorption and graphite furnace atomic absorption, with detection limits of about 10 mg/kg and 50 μg/kg, respectively. Sensitivity and accuracy of chromium content determination are guaranteed.
