This standard specifies the method for determining the thermal life and temperature index of enameled round wires in atmospheric air by thermostatic life and dynamic thermogravimetric test. It is suitable for self-tacked enameled round wires and composite enameled round wires. The test results are used to evaluate the insulation structure of electrical equipment. The standard provides a quick method to improve the measurement efficiency. When the results are disagreeable, the routine test can be confirmed according to GB/T 4074.7-2009.
