This standard specifies a method for determining the gelling time of thermosetting Coating powders at a specified temperature for detecting powder quality control and batch-to-batch differences. The method is not suitable for powders with a gelling time of less than 15 seconds. The new version of the standard removes the use of mold release agents, adds a new heating block selection, revises the text and updates the normative references to ensure the accuracy and conformity of the test.
