This standard specifies methods for the determination and calculation of warp (latitude) density, tensile strength, constant elongation, air permeability, water filtration, thickness, dehydrate index (DI) and fibre support index (FSI) of multi-layer forming and drying webs for papermaking. Applicable to forming and drying webs used in the papermaking process, standardized measurement and calculation methods are provided to ensure the performance and mass of these key components in paper production.
