GB/T 10741-2008 "Determination of benzene alcohol extract from pulp" specifies the test method for the determination of benzene alcohol extract content in pulp by phenol alcohol extraction method. This standard is applicable to various chemical pulps and semi-chemical pulps. The content of benzene alcohol extract in pulp is quantitatively analyzed by evaporation, drying and weighing the amount of residue in the extraction liquid.
