GB/T 3 2710.6 - 2016 "Safety Specifications for Environmental Test Instruments and Equipment, Part 6: Bioartificial climate test chamber" stipulates the safety specifications for equipment such as bioartificial climate test chamber, seed germination test chamber, light chamber, irradiation test chamber, Constant Temperature and Humidity Incubator, mildew incubator, comprehensive drug Stability test chamber and drug Light Stability test chamber. The standard covers safety requirements for electric shock, electric burns, mechanical hazards, flame spread, excessive temperature, fluid pressure, radiation effects (including lasers, sound pressure and ultrasonic pressure), gas release, explosion, implosion, and biological and chemical hazards. The standard does not address the function of equipment, performance, Encasement effectiveness, electromagnetic compatibility, explosion protection measures, and protection of maintenance personnel. Bioartificial climate test chambers can operate below or above Environmental temperatures and are used to simulate a variety of climate conditions. Applicable normative references include GB 4208-2008 "Enclosure Protection level (IP code) " and GB 4706 series standards.
