GB/T 10247-2008 "Viscosity measurement method" issued by China Machinery Industry Federation aims to specify general methods for fluid viscosity measurement, including capillary method, falling ball method, swirl/spin method and vibration method. Measurement principle is to calculate the dynamic viscosity of a fluid by measuring the time required for a certain volume of fluid to flow through the laminar flow of capillary tubing under the action of gravity.
