The standard GB/T 30156-2013 Method for corrosion and abrasion of coated metal accessories in Spinning & weaving products specifies a method for the detection of accelerated corrosion and abrasion of coated metal accessories in Spinning & weaving products, especially before the determination of nickel release. The standard applies to metal accessories with metal platings, varnishes or plastic coatings on the surface, such as zippers, buttons, rivets, decorative chains and signs. The standard describes accelerated abrasion and corrosion of accessories by treating specimens in a corrosive environment and rolling friction in rollers containing grinding paste and fine abrasive particles, providing conditions for subsequent nickel release testing.
