This standard specifies the basic principles for the recycling and reuse of thin film solar modules for buildings, including requirements for the collection, transportation, storage, dismantling, treatment, recycling and management of modules. The standard applies to the treatment and reuse of waste modules of cadmium sulfide and copper indium gallium selenide thin film solar cells. The treatment of Miscellaneous thin film solar cells can also be referred to this standard. By standardizing the treatment process of waste modules, it aims to promote the environment-friendly recycling and reuse of solar modules.
