This standard specifies the test method for the barrier property of Plastic films, sheets and containers to organic gases by using the Hydrogen Flame Ion Detector (FID). It is suitable for the determination of organic gas transmittance of Plastic films, composite Plastic films, sheets and containers. Through this standard, manufacturers and users can accurately evaluate the gas barrier performance of materials, thereby guiding the selection and application of Encasement materials.
