GB/T 40393-2021 "Corrosion of metals and alloys austenitic stainless steel intergranular corrosion susceptibility accelerated corrosion test (ACT) method" specifies the accelerated test method of austenitic stainless steel intergranular corrosion susceptibility. The standard specifies the test principle, sample prepative, equipment, operation process and result evaluation. By simulating the accelerated corrosion environment, the intergranular corrosion sensitivity of austenitic stainless steel can be quickly evaluated to provide a standardized technical basis for ensuring its mass, rational material selection and optimization process.
