This standard specifies the galvanic corrosion test method for carbon fiber reinforced polymer-based composites (CFRPs) and metal materials under different salt fog environments. The galvanic corrosion resistance of CFRPs and metal connection structures under temporary or temporary insulation current is evaluated by neutral salt spray, acetate salt fog and copper accelerated acetate salt spray test. The standard provides a test basis for the corrosion resistance performance of composites and metal assemblies, and is suitable for material evaluation in aerospace, automotive and other industries.
