This standard specifies the test method for the corrosion of Encasement materials in contact with metal surfaces, including the test environment, reagents and materials, instrumentation and equipment, sample preparation, test procedures and reports. It is applicable to the contact corrosion test of Encasement materials on steel and aluminum, and can be referred to as applicable to Miscellaneous metal materials. The implementation of the standard helps to evaluate the corrosion effect of Encasement materials during use and ensure the safety and mass of metal products.
