This standard specifies the technical requirements for the whole life cycle of thermal power plant corrosion control engineering, covering all aspects from design, manufacture, construction, installation to operation, maintenance, life extension and scrap treatment. It is mainly applicable to the corrosion control of combined cycle waste heat boilers in coal-fired power plants and gas-turbine power plants. The corrosion control of conventional islands in nuclear power plants can be implemented by reference. The standard aims to ensure the safety, economy and longevity of thermal power plant equipment throughout the life cycle through systematic and holistic management.
