This standard specifies the content, methods and procedures of internal and external corrosion detection of buried steel gas pipelines, including data collection, corrosion location prediction, excavation detection and determination of inspection period. The standard is applicable to dry gas pipelines with a small amount of liquid water due to short-term abnormalities, and can refer to gas transmission pipelines applied to ground laying. Through this standard, the corrosion risk of the inner wall of gas pipelines can be effectively assessed and prevented, and the safe operation of pipelines can be ensured.
