This standard specifies the intergranular corrosion test method of low chromium ferritic stainless steel, including sample preparation, test conditions, procedures, result evaluation and test report. The standard is applicable to the evaluation of the corrosion resistance of low chromium ferritic stainless steel with less than 16% chromium content in weak oxidation medium by sulfuric acid-copper sulfate corrosion test. It is applicable to the quality control and application evaluation of related steels.
