This standard specifies the method of electronic probe analysis of corrosion layers of ferrous metal materials on ships in the marine environment, including sample preparation, master standard selection, measurement procedures, analysis conditions and result processing. The standard is applicable to the analysis of ferrous metal bulk corrosion samples in the marine environment, and can also refer to the analysis of corrosion layers of ferrous metal materials used in Miscellaneous environments. Through electronic probe analysis, the composition and structure of the corrosion layer can be accurately determined, providing a scientific basis for the evaluation of corrosion resistance performance of ship materials.
