This standard specifies the inspection requirements and rules for the intergranular corrosion sensitivity of stainless steel Pressure Vessels. It is applicable to the intergranular corrosion inspection of stainless steel fixed Pressure Vessels, heat exchangers, cylinders, mobile Pressure Vessels and pressure pipes. The stainless steel materials to which the standard applies include austenitic stainless steel, ferritic stainless steel and duplex stainless steel. It is mainly used to evaluate the intergranular corrosion tendency of stainless steel materials during use. The standard puts forward specific requirements for the corresponding inspection of materials used in the manufacture of stainless steel Pressure Vessels to ensure the safety and durability of equipment.
