This standard tests the abrasion resistance of latex paints under drying conditions, i.e. the Gloss change under friction. This test can quantitatively assess the Gloss change of paints in the contact area with clothing or furniture, reflecting the abrasion resistance of coatings in actual use. SI units are standard units, and the values in parentheses are for reference only. It is up to the user to determine the applicable safety measures.
