GB/T 15970.7-2000 "Corrosion of metals and alloys, stress corrosion test, Part 7: Slow strain rate test" specifies the slow strain rate stress corrosion test method for metals and alloys. The standard covers the test principle, equipment requirements, sample preparation, test procedure and result analysis. By controlling the slow strain rate, it simulates the failure process of materials under the synergistic effect of stress and corrosion, and provides a scientific and standardized technical basis for evaluating the stress corrosion sensitivity of metals and alloys.
