This standard covers three methods for determining the density of powder coatings. Test Method A is suitable for powders that do not contain metallic pigments, using common laboratory equipment for measurement. Test Method B is suitable for powders containing metals, providing higher Measurement accuracy but at a higher cost. Test Method C calculates the powder density based on known formulations and component densities. These methods can be used for density determination of different types of powders, helping to ensure powder mass and conformity. SI units are standard units, values in brackets are for reference only. It is up to the user to determine the applicable safety measures.
