After the sample is digested by muriatic acid and nitric acid in a closed Microwave Digestion System, the mercury content is determined by cold AtomicAbsorption Spectroscopy at a wavelength of 253.7 nm. This method provides an accurate technical basis for the detection of trace mercury in iron ore.
