This standard specifies the determination method of cobalt content in molybdenum, which is suitable for the determination of cobalt content in molybdenum powder, molybdenum bar, molybdenum trioxide and ammonium molybdate. The standard provides two determination methods: cobalt reagent Spectrophotometric method, spectra-trophotometry and flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) method, the determination range is 0.0006%~ 0.010% and 0.0010%~ 0.010% respectively. The cobalt content in samples is accurately determined through analysis, complexation and Absorbance measurement of samples. This standard applies to the quality control and composition analysis of molybdenum products.
