This standard specifies the method for determining the moisture content of ferroalloy delivery batches by weight method. It is suitable for ferroalloys and nickel iron ingots or blocks with a moisture content of delivery batches between 0.010% and 1.00%. During the determination process, a certain mass of ferroalloy samples is placed in a drying oven at 105 ° C +/- 5 ° C to dry until the mass is constant, and then the moisture content is calculated by measuring the mass change of the sample.
