This standard specifies a method for the determination of moisture content in solid chemical products by thermogravimetric analysis. It is suitable for solid chemical products with moisture content ranging from 0.050% to 28.00%, but not for chemical products that are weathered, deliquescent or volatile at room temperature, and products with an analysis temperature below 105 ° C. Method Linear dispersion is recorded by heating the sample in a Thermal Gravimetric Analyzer, from which the moisture content is automatically determined. The standard requires the use of a Thermal Gravimetric Analyzer in accordance with GB/T 27761 and the use of an inert gas with a purity greater than 99.99%. The instrument needs to be calibrated and debugged to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test.
