This standard specifies a method for the determination of arsenic content in iron ore by hydride generation-atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), which is suitable for the determination of arsenic content in natural iron ore, iron ore concentrate and sintered products. The determination range is 0.00005% to 0.1%. The sample is dissolved by muriatic acid and nitric acid, and after a series of chemical treatments, hydrogen arsenide is generated by a hydride generator, and the arsenic content is determined by AtomicAbsorption Spectroscopy. The standard also specifies the reagents used, instruments and operation procedures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the analysis.
