This standard specifies the method for the determination of ammonia content in boiler water and chilled down water, which is applicable to water samples with ammonia content between 0.061 mg/L and 4.5 mg/L. This method determines the concentration of ammonia by reacting ammonia with phenol to generate indigo blue and measuring its Absorbance. This method can effectively eliminate the interference of hydrazine, copper and iron to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.
