GB/T 20975.11-2008 Determination of lead content in aluminum and aluminum alloys by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). The aluminum and aluminum alloy samples are first processed to dissolve the lead element. The lead atomization is carried out by Flame atomization, and the absorption degree of lead atoms to specific wavelengths of light (Absorbance) is measured by Light Spectrum. The lead content is accurately calculated by Absorbance according to the pre-constructed lead standard Linear dispersion. The standard strictly regulates Sample Handling, instrument operation, measurement process and data processing, providing a key means for mass testing of aluminum and aluminum alloy products, helping to control the lead content in products and ensure product mass.
