GB/T 20975.1-2007 Determination of mercury content in aluminum and aluminum alloys by cold atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). The aluminum and aluminum alloy samples are first processed to release mercury. Light spectrum meter is used to measure the absorption degree of mercury atoms to specific wavelengths of light. According to the pre-established standard Linear dispersion, the mercury content is accurately calculated by Absorbance. The standard specifies the sample preparation, instrument operation, measurement procedures and data processing in detail to ensure accurate measurement results. This provides a key means for mass testing of aluminum and aluminum alloy products, which helps to control mercury content and ensure product safety and performance.
